With approximately 500 members, the club is open to everyone, both private owners and breeders.
Promote the breed and encourage breeding, contribute to its promotion, and develop its use.
Implement temperament tests (TAN) designed to contribute to the improvement of this breed.
Foster relationships among members and guide them in their choices.
Publish an electronic newsletter full of information, intended for both private owners and breeders.
Organize breed specialty shows with conformity judging against the breed standard and the awarding of CACIB and CACS titles, the latter counting toward the title of French Champion of conformity to the standard. These specialty shows take place within the framework of all-breed exhibitions.
Organize the National Breeding Show of the Club du Bouledogue Français. This exhibition is recognized as the Breed Club Championship, with the awarding of the title of French Champion of conformity to the standard. This event takes place once a year.
The association is led by a steering committee made up of 8 members who oversee its management and overall operation. The organization's financial resources come mainly from members' annual dues, which cover operating costs, including the publication of the electronic newsletter received by every member who joins the community of French Bulldog enthusiasts.
Anyone who loves our breed may join the club, whether they own a French Bulldog registered with the LOF (French kennel club stud book), an unregistered French Bulldog, or even no French Bulldog at all. However, owning an unregistered dog implies that the member will not breed it, and any behavior contrary to the defense of the LOF-registered dog will result in either a refusal of membership or expulsion.
